Twilight (series) by Stephenie Meyer
I read these books throughout my high school years and simply loved Stephenie Meyer’s writing style. Plus, I love when a book has some romance and fantasy involved, and this has both.
The Hunger Games (series) by Suzanne Collins
I read this series throughout my high school years. I loved how Katniss Everdeen showed bravery and strength regardless of all of the struggles she went through. As soon as she chose to volunteer as tribute, I knew right then and there, I loved this character! It made me want to become a brave young woman that can overcome all obstacles.
Entwined by Heather Dixon
This book gave off the fantasy and romance vibes that I love, but opened up my eyes to the importance of family. The protagonist Azalea learns that with her sisters, as they go through struggling times. No matter what I go through, I keep in mind the importance of sticking with my family with love as Azalea and her sisters did.
The Art of the Start 2.0 by Guy Kawasaki
As I started my sophomore year of college, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do in business marketing. I had many ideas but didn’t know which one to pick! This was one of the required books for the Entrepreneurship course. It made me want to have my own business, and I declared an entrepreneurship minor.
Make It Fun to Make It Last by Dave Rosenberg
This book also encouraged me to pursue my dream job, operating my own business. It gave many helpful tips and real-life experiences that made Dave Rosenberg the person he is today. It made me realize that we all start small with our dreams, but if we keep working hard, we can reach our goals!
