Come to the Reading Room CLE to hear Sam Prewitt. His book, Plus More Life: A #HeartStrong Story is a powerful memoir about survival, family, faith, and second chances.
After ignoring years of warning signs, Sam Prewitt suffered a near-fatal heart attack at just 29, a life-changing moment that forced him to confront his health, his habits, and the generational patterns he had inherited.
Through honest storytelling, he shares the journey from childhood memories in Cleveland and Alabama to the hospital bed, cardiac rehab, and the hard work of rebuilding his life.

If you come to volunteer, you should expect free admission, a free ticket, gift, or snack if one is included with general admission, and to work no more than 1/3 of the event. If you help set up, you can observe/participate for the event and you don't need to help clean up; if you host during the event we don't expect you to set up or clean up; if you stay late to clean up, we don't expect you to set up or work during the event itself.
